Indian fertilizer co-operative the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Co-operative (IFFCO) is not expected to buy any sulphur on a spot basis within the next three months as sulphuric acid is considered more “attractive” at current price levels. IFFCO typically receives one 30,000-35,000t sulphur cargo a month against contract and supplements its requirements with one-to-two spot sulphur purchases per quarter.
