China’s imports of MOP totalled 246,357t in July, a sharp 72pc year-on-year decline, according to GTIS data. Russia was the largest supplier in the month at 112,665t, more than four times the amount the country supplied in July 2015. China’s January-July 2016 MOP imports totalled 3.6mnt, down by 23pc year on year.
