IFFCO business for 1H Oct done at $169-170/t cfr

With domestic sulphuric acid prices touching Rs 5000 and International prices are reaching over $50 cfr IFFCO has opted to increase production of sulphur-based sulphuric acid at its Paradeep plant. IFFCO’s has recently finalized its next two cargoes for 1H October arrival with contract suppliers Swiss and Mitsui at prices under formula which calculate to around $169-170/t cfr. Swiss Singapore’s MV Kavala Seas carrying 45,000t is being shipped with 30,000t from Ras Laffan, Qatar and 15,000t from Messaied (due to sail with full cargo on 28 Sept). Mitsui is shipping 30,000t from Ras Laffan to IFFCO on the MV Gloria Galaxy (sailed 19 Sept).
