Lanxess and Advent Get Final Approval For New HP Engineering Materials JV

Cologne- Lanxess and Advent International have received clearance from India's competition authority for their planned high-performance engineering materials joint venture, the final approval needed to finalize the transaction (PCN, 6 June 2022, p 3). On 31 May 2022, the two companies announced plans to acquire the DSM Engineering Materials (DEM) business of Royal DSM for an enterprise value of €3.85-billion.
