In July 2014 sulphur imports into Australia amounted to 136,000t, all of which was shipped from Vancouver, Canada. This contributed to a Jan-July 2014 import total of 642,000t, up 5.6% on Jan-July 2013. Imports from main supplier Canada fell 4% to 575,000t, but this was offset by two trader shipments from Qatar totalling 65,000t (nothing in 1H 2013).
