Silicon metal prices globally have continued to trend lower in recent sessions, with prices down by 15% in Europe and 7% in China between May 31 and June 23. We believe that there remains room for further losses over coming weeks although the market will likely remain sensitive to Chinese output amid rumours of production cuts.
