USD A increases corn, soybean yield estimates

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) increased its yield expectations for both corn and soybeans, sending prices for both crops sharply lower. Drier weather in July after an excessively wet June in much of the Midwest has improved the prospects for this year's corn and soybean crops, according to the August World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE).
