Uralkali has not made any price proposal to Indian buyers as yet but reports are already circulating that it will be looking for $20-25/t above the previous contract price of $322/t cfr, including 180 days. Indian buyers want a roll-over not surprisingly. MMTC closed a tender this week in preparation for it to submit its bid in the RCF tender that closes on 31 March for 145,000t standard MOP frm, with option for a further 120,000t. These should provide the frst indications of sup- pliers’ price ideas for the new contract for shipment from April through to March next year.
