EU wants zero-emission cars from 2035

The European Parliament today adopted a legal report revis- ing EU CO2 emissions performance standards for new cars and vans. The report, if agreed with EU member states, would establish an EU target emissions reduction for new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles of 100pc compared with 2021 levels.
