CEV's Problad scores Dutch registration

Japanese company Mitsui & Co's subsidiary, Certis Belchim, reports the Dutch registration of Portuguese company CEV's BLAD (Banda de Lupinus albus doce) polypeptide-based biofungicide, Problad. The active ingredient is derived from the concentrated aqueous extract of germinated seeds of sweet Lupinus albus. The registration was granted in July for 15 years, and is applicable for protected, as well as open field applications. Mitsui & Co's legacy European subsidiary, Certis Europe, agreed an exclusive distribution and sales deal with CEV involving Problad in 2019. The alliance covers all EU nations except Portugal, and other specified countries.
