Queues across China's metallurgical coal discharging ports fell on the week, according to IHS Markit data. The average daily number of queued vessels across the main ports was 14 in the week of 12-18 August, down by one vessel from the previous week, and equivalent to around 1.19 mt of coking coal, according to the data. Among those 14 vessels, four were Australian origin cargoes, equivalent to around 432,000 t of coking coal, flat to last week.
