A RECORD-BREAKING contract has been signed between France and the United Arab Emirates to acquire a total of 80 Rafale F4s and 12 Airbus H225M Caracal helicopters. Dassault Aviation announced the Rafale deal on December 3, saying the contract had been signed by Eric Trappier, Chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation, and Tareq Abdul Raheem AI Hosani, CEO of Tawazun Economic Council, the company in charge of UAE Air Force and Air Defence (UAEAF&AD) acquisitions.
