I have to start with some very sad news. Just prior to this issue going to press we learned of the sudden and unexpected death of our long time contributor Peter Grego. Peter's Moonwatch column has run continuously since 1997, and he contributed many other articles and observations. His knowledge on the Moon was immense, and his unwavering enthusiasm for our natural satellite made his column an essential read. Next month's issue will have a full appreciation of Peter from friends and colleagues. He will be greatly missed and we send our sympathies to his wife, Tina, and daughter, Jacy.
