Q In the October issue, a question was asked about a Spitfire on the dump at Kenley in 1963. A Peter Arnold recalls that, in October 1958, MkXVI TB885 was present together with the fuselage of Mk22 PK665, but he is doubtful that the latter -photographed there circa 1957 by Marten Brunning, who also wrote in - survived there for another five years until our correspondent saw it. TB885, meanwhile, was cut up and buried at Kenley and recovered in 1982. It is currently under restoration to flight at the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar for a client.
