This was our first major wine chateau tour and we would not have had the opportunity if not invited by longtime friends to accompany them to Bordeaux and Paris, France. They have been our friends for many years, starting when Larry and I, as committedamateur winemakers, were involved in forming a wine group that became a chapter of the American Wine Society for over a decade. Afteralmost 30 years, our group still meets several times a year tohave tastings, socialize, and dine.
