摘要

Growth is one of the physiological parameters affected by plant water stress. Such stress is most commonly due to soil water deficit. It is well known that this deficit inhibits plant and especially leaf growth. The objective of the present work was to compare the effect of a progressive soil water deficit on the leaf area of two bean varieties contrasting in their response to drought.
