US degree days indicator through February 12

New York - The degree days indicator for US heating oil demand so far this heating season (through February 12) was 0.9% less then the corresponding period of the last season and 50.78% less then normal. The indicator is comprised of the average degree days for 18 geographically representative US cities, weighted to reflect the cities' relative consumption of home heating oil.
