摘要

Sulfone compounds are useful intermediates~1 and the desulfonylation of sulfones is an important reaction in organic synthesis.~2 A wide variety of reagents have been used for desulfonylation, e.g.sodium amalgam-disodium hydrogen phosphate system,~3 aluminium amalgam,`4 lithiumethylamine system,~5 lithium aluminium hydride-copper (II) chloride system,~4 tri-n-butylstannane-AIBN (azobisisobutyronitrile),~(2b) sodium hydrogen telluride,~6 samarium diiodide,~7 zinc-titanium (IV) chloride system,~8 and samarium-mercury (II) chloride system,~9 etc.
