In this paper, a multi-token passing system using a direct sequence spread spectrum is proposed. Furthermore, the throughput performance and the time delay performance are evaluated by theoretical analysis two message priorities. Consequently, it is found that the throughput performance of the proposed system is better than that of the conventional single-token passing system. When using the two message priorities, the proposed system is superior to the conventional system. Moreover, the time delay performance of the proposed system is also lower than that the conventional system.
