As with any pursuit, people engaged actively in historic aviation go about their interest in different ways. Some take it more casually, maybe enjoying a flight once in a while, or the mere fact of owning something rare and valuable. Others enjoy nothing less than absolute immersion in this world -in the engineering and the history that surrounds the aeroplanes, in the whole experience that comes with them. They delight in the smallest snippet of new information that comes their way, in meeting people and visiting places that afford them an even closer connection with their aircraft.
