Mendelian segregation of a mouse antibody idiotype

AbstractThe expression of a mouse antibody idiotype (A5A) was found to be controlled by a gene in the heavy chain linkage group. The segregation of this idiotype in backcross experiments followed the segregation of the heavy chain allotype. A single backcross mouse had a recombinant phenotype.
