On the back of many years of experience in the engi-neering of belt conveyors and in response to rising requirements in this Segment, Kuhne developed its patented belt conveyor cover System.The system was designed to meet needs for quick assembly, easy access to the conveyor components such as idlers and belt monitoring system. Other development goals were easy retrofitting of the hood to existing belt frames and, in the case of new conveyors, attachment of the hood prior to commissioning of the belt. With this Solution any necessary adjustments can be made even after fitting of the hood.
