Currently operating two layer farm sites, Mr Quilat is aware that he will have to close one of them in the next 2-3 years, given that the land where the older farm sits, in Barangay Conel, General Santos City, is likely to be reclassified from agricultural land to residential in the near future."The area is already surrounded by residential houses and while we have not been getting any complaints from our neighbours, I'm speculating that we will have to close the older farm soon," he said adding that as early as 2006, Barangay officials had already advised him to look for a new area.In 2009, he put up a second farm site in Matin-ao, Polomolok, South Cotabato. Today the farm has three buildings with rooms for more should Mr Quilat decide to expand operations.
