What is the best way to feed broilers?

Broilers are fed with different dietary programs in Asia. One aspect that differs is whether a 2 or 3 feeding phase program is used and the lengths of the phases. Another difference is in the levels and balance of amino acids. Recent research (Jiang 2011, A flab 2011, Eits et al, 2003) suggests that basing diets on digestible lysine levels of around 1.20, 1.10 and 1.0% for 3 phases respectively, with other limiting amino acids calculated by ideal protein ratio, maximizes performance and minimizes feed costs.
