Various sensor and actuator technologies have been demonstrated at San Diego NAHSCdemonstration on Aug. of 1997 as the candidates for the key components of AHS. Technicalfeasibility of each scenario, based on each individual and innovative component of each team, hasbeen recognized. But on the other hand, this means that deployment scenario of the AHS reliesstrongly on the component technology such as radar or vision system etc. We had better put bigimportance on the R&D activities of the AHS component as well as system issues.
