All rights reserved.In this work, titanium dioxide (TiO2 ) nano-fluid was blended with aphanizomenon Flos (AF) biodiesel blend in order to investigate the emission behaviour of compression ignition engine. Three different percentages of titanium dioxide (TiO2 ) nano-fluid was blended with aphanizomenon Flos (AF) biodiesel (20%) – diesel (80%) blend. Taguchi method was used to find the optimum level of titanium dioxide nano-fluid. ANOVA was used to find the contribution of factors on the exhaust emission. As TiO2 content increases in AFD-TiO2 blend, NO emission of the engine increases. Correlation among the significant factors on the response was done using multiple linear regression equation.
