摘要

In the present investigation, the effect of nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphate on the amylase activity of Aspergillus niger was studied. The results obtained showed that the production of amylase was maximum in the medium supplemented with 2 g/LNaNO_3 as nitrogen source and 2.5 g/L K_2HPO_4 as phosphate source. Aspergillus niger showed variation in its amylase producing ability in relation to available nutrients.
