摘要

Colletotrichum capsici is both internally and externally seed-borne pathogen that can serve as a primary inoculum source of anthracnose disease of chilli. In laboratory test, Streptomyces-PR22 had a strong antifungal activity to control C. capsici. The result showed that Streptomyces-PE22 inhibited mycelium growth of any isolates fungi tested by dual culture. The culture filtrate produce of Streptomyces-PR22 had effected to hyphal morphology as swelling and distortion, also completely inhibited sporegermination of C. capsici. Cell suspension of Streptomyces-PR22 treated chilli seeds infected with C. capsici had the percent of germination no differ the uninoculated control, also reduced number of seed infection and development of spore mass as wellas seed treatment with benomyl fungicide. In addition, seedling growth of Streptomyces-PR22 treatments were tio differ the uninoculated control. This is the first report, application of antagonistic Streptomyces treated seed to control anthracnose disease of chilli.
