A new ASTM International standard provides basic safety and performance requirements for inflatable devices that use a constant flow of air. ASTM F2729, Consumer Safety Specification for Constant Air Inflatable Play Devices for Home Use, was developed by Subcommittee F15.61 on Constant Air Inflatable Play Devices for Home Use, part of ASTM International Committee F15 on Consumer Products.
