Based on sophisticated designs, FAM impact hammer mills cover a wide range of requirements in respect of the particle size distribution of the feed and finished product, material properties (e.g. hardness. moisture content) and throughput rates. Depending on the specific application, the material loading geometry, i. e. the rotor system with milling race or grid, is selected and the circumferential speed of the rotor and the gap width are adjusted to the feed and finished product sizes.
