Effect of ligation of various vessels ischaemia and collateral circulation in rabbits and rats

Ligation of vessels was performed in rats and rabbits to study ischaemia and collateral circulation. Many authors have worked on this subject. This work was undertaken to study the response of young rabbits in comparison with older animals.
