Syndicate Formed by German Companies in the Processing and Recycling of Waste Incineration Slag

In June this year, the "Interessengemeinschaft der Aufbereiter und Verwerter von Mullverbrennungsschlacken" (IGAM), a syndicate for German companies involved in the processing and recycling of waste incineration slag, was formed in Frankfurt am Main. The 15 founding members elected Dieter Kersting, C.C. Umwelt AG, Krefeld (D) as their chairman and Alf Heidemann, Heidemann Recycling GmbH, Stade (D) as their vice-chairman. In accordance with its articles, IGAM will act as a general lobby for the branch in dealings with ministries, authorities and politics on federal and state level in Germany as well as with research institutes and other private and public institutions. Internally, the focus will be on the regular transfer of information and exchange of views between members.
