In a discussion of quality gurus, there are the usual suspects: W. Edwards Deming, Joseph M. Juran and Philip Crosby, among others. Armand Feigenbaum also held strong credentials to be part of those discussions. He was more than an academician, but also a practitioner. In fact, "the name Armand Feigenbaum and the term 'total quality control' are virtually synonymous."
