摘要

Press agglomeration in roll presses is a widely applied process in industry. In this process, free-flowing agglomerates are formed from fine bulk solids. Compaction in a roll press is a complex process, which is influenced by many parameters. The main objective of the tests was the study of the effect of machine parameters on compaction in a roll press - the speed ratio between the feed screw and rolls and the hydraulic pressure. The tests were performed with limestone flour, bentonite and microcrystalline cellulose (MCC).
