摘要

The growing complexity of processes in waste treatment as well as the noticeably more stringent requirements for its products have led to a growing need for a simulation concept for the design planning and load handling analysis of processing plants for solid waste materials. Based on a definition of the state-of-the-art in the simulation of processes for the treatment of solid waste materials, the aim of this research was to develop a concept to enable the vectorization of waste material flows for the purpose of modelling and to formulate simulation models for the key processes in waste treatment. Particular effort was made to ensure adequate account was taken of the very heterogeneous raw materials contained in the waste as a material flow.
