The Belgian building materials supplier Victor-Meyer based in Malmedy produces high-grade chippings from different rocks including limestone, dolomite, granite, basalt and quarzite. As part of the planning of a new processing line, the company speci-fied that a single screen was to be used for sizing of the entire feed material - a maximum of 120 t/h -into six fractions. To this end, Frambs & Freudenberg Klassiertechnik developed a machine and processing concept tailored to the corresponding application, which was centred around a modified compact EuroClass type screen. The good operating results show that this screen is capable of separat-ing the feed material into six high-quality products.
