In final round, I summarize the life cycle and life strategies of masu salmon(Oncorhynchus masou masou)and it's influences of newly evolved Pacific salmons such as chum(O. keta)and pink(O. gorbuscha)salmon. After the biwa salmon(O. masou subsp.)inhabited in Lake Biwa, amago(O. masou ishikawae)and masu salmon evolved and surrounded the Lake. Downstream migratory behavior of masu salmon were an escape behavior from suitable feeding area, but at present this behavior may play roles to seek new feeding environments in most of Pacific salmon including masu salmon. Such conversion probably influenced many aspects of lifecycle and life strategies in newly evolved species.
