Diamond Group's Chairman and Managing Director G. Ramesh Babu revealed that the establishment of the farm is a study in itself. With this modern farm established and managed by the company, they would be able to compare bird performance and financialgains with the company's contract broiler farms. Diamond Group has leased a broiler farm outside Hyderabad for this purpose. It has a capacity of 150,000 birds/batch. It features closed houses equipped with climate control systems as well as automatic feeders and drinkers from Big Dutchman, a reputed international supplier of poultry farming equipment.
