Guangyang Egg Industry, based in southeastern China's Fujian province, stood out in terms of quality when Chinese consumers were rattled by the revelation of the cancer-causing chemical Sudan Red found in traditionally preserved salted duck eggs in 2006. This has also helped them drive sales in both local and overseas markets.
