The year 2020 was very tough for the world, in particular for mankind. The spread of the deadly corona virus 'Covid-19' flared a global public health crisis. Additional pressure on the healthcare system and lockdown for extended periods in most countries has left formidable socio-economic complications. However, timely assessment of the situation by our Hon'ble PM, has kept cases at a manageable level in India. Indian Railways has been an active participant in the country's fight against the corona virus. Northern Railway, has risen to the occasion and has contributed in ingenious ways to mitigate the situation. The efforts put in by the employees of the zone to keep the railway system running in top notch even in these difficult times is more than commendable.
