Indonesia's PT Sinta Prima Feedmill is basking in its success. Having reached maximum capacity at its production facility in Bogor, West Java, its next move is to develop the existing land around its facility to expand its feed production, writes CONNY PEREIRA. With close to 30 years in the business, Liliyanti Soewanto shows no sign of easing her reins on PT Sinta Prima, the feed production business that she and her husband Salim Soewanto established in 1972. Their business started as a home industry with 200 layer chickens in the backyard of their piece of land in Slipi, West Jakarta. At that time, it was only equipped with a manual mixer. This farm today stands proud as the current head office of PT Sinta Prima Feedmill.
