Aviagen's consistent efforts towards genetic improvement has helped Beijing Arbor Acres Poultry Breeding Co Ltd (BAAC) widen its market reach within China.Aviagen has been shipping genetically enhanced GP to China and its annual shipment averages 350,000 female birds per year, which is about 60% of China's total demand. In 2003, Aviagen changed its market strategy and genetic approach. It launched a new breed - AA Plus that features consistent parent performance, excellent broiler performance and good processing yield. This helped BAAC widen its stride and meet the changing market demand.
