Phu An Sinh: Strategy for a changing market

Phu An Sinh's expansion is aimed at increasing live bird supplies to its existing processing plant in Ho Chi Minh City as well as to a new plant to be built in Vung Tau, said Pham Van Minh, General Director. "We suffered a setback with the bird flu outbreaks over the last three years but now, it's time for us to grow again." Mr Minh ventured into the chicken processing business in 2001 and set up a manual processing plant in Ho Chi Minh City's neighbouring province of Binh Duong in that year.
