Until recently, many considered fibre as a non-essential ingredient in broiler nutrition, others simply choose not to use it to favour other nutrient contents of their diets. It has become clear that dietary fibre is very important in poultry diets as it aids in gizzard development and regulating digestive function. However, not all fibres are the same.
