It is often overlooked by the hatchery manager what long-term effect the incubation process has on determining the final performance of the broiler.Temperature is the most critical environmental concern during incubation because the developing embryo can only withstand small fluctuations during this period. During the first 18 days of incubation a commercial setter could vary between 37 to 38.9 °C.
