Brussels-Ineos Inovyn announced an investment in Helios, "one of Belgium's largest" solar farms, to provide renewable electricity exclusively to Ineos Inovyn's site at Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, Belgium. Through an exclusive power purchase agreement, Helios will supply over 57,000 megawatt hours a year of renewable electricity to the Ineos Inovyn site, beginning in 2024, replacing around 10 of the electricity requirement of the site, and saving more than 14,000 t/y of carbon dioxide (C02).
