Improvement of inclusion control technology in 304 stainless steel

All rights reserved.In stainless steel, inclusion control technology in steelmaking process are important because inclusions in steel cause surface defects and internal defects in products. Our production process of general stainless steels, as typified by SUS304, have not been changed regardless of their use and characteristics. This report is about operational improvement aimed at controlling harmful inclusions in 304 stainless steel in accordance with their use and required characteristics.
