On May 12, the Customer Satisfaction Assessment Center of China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS), jointly set up by CNIS and Tsinghua University and specialized in conducting theoretical research on Customer Satisfaction and the related investigation and assessment work; was formally established in Beijing. Customer Satisfaction is a new criterion for macro-economy and quality evaluation, and currently being researched and used in many countries. In China, it is the important criterion in macro-quality evaluation system. With the development of China national market economy, standards for quality evaluation are also undergoing changes. In the competitive market, the finual judge for quality is the customer, whose choices will decide everything. So, the quality of products should not only meet the standard, but also bring about customers satisfaction eventually. Carrying out the research and evaluation on Customer Satisfaction, providing the society with information on customers' assessment on product and service quality, guiding consumers to right consuming and promoting enterprises to improve the quality are so important for accurately keeping abreast of the information on quality to improve their quality and strengthening the work on quality.
