Imet Les Allen in 2004 when I organized a trip to China for the First Duo Lun Master Stone Collectors' Festival in Shanghai. Over the years I had the chance to meet him again in the USA and in Italy when he participated in one of my collecting trips in Liguria. This year, during my long stay in the USA, I had the luck to visit his home. Les Allen is an accountant who has worked for the past ten years at Ameridrives International in the role of Controller. He and his wife Linda have lived in the Erie,Pennsylvania area all their lives and have two sons and two grandsons. Les is a very enthusiastic stone collector who has traveled extensively to Japan and China attending bonsai and stone exhibitions and other places of interest in those countries. Now his collection is rich with many stones from different countries. He has also collected stones many times along the rivers of Northern California and once in Liguria, Italy.
