Essar Oilfields Services has been formed to focus on international and Indian onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration and funded with 400 million for the acquisition of a diversified fleet of onshore and offshore oil drilling rigs.Essar sees the high demand for drilling rigs being sustained over the next 3-5 years,with contract drilling rates,having nearly doubled in the last three years,forecast to remain robust.
